I started watching Attack on Titan because for months now I've noticed gorgeous fanart on my dash of two dashing young men and i just have to meet them (I've never watched anime before so this is a novel experience) anyway I'm loving it :D
Hey lovely! I’m so glad you like AoT (also known as SnK). I started out just like you, noticing and getting intrigued by Erwin and Levi on my dash. Then I watched the anime and discovered to my delight that the storyline was so intricate and complex (and so difficult, with no easy answers). Erwin in the anime is not as well developed as in the manga, which I would highly recommend as well (start with A Choice with No Regrets to see how Erwin and Levi met). I love that the artist, Isayama san, is gradually “undoing” him and unraveling the complex, vulnerable man behind the heroic, impenetrable facade. The tons of fanart of Erwin and Levi (Eruri) are definitely a huge bonus. Utterly delectable! I just love the enemies-to-friends-to-lovers trope that comes so naturally to Eruri. At any rate, they behave like an old-married couple anyway in the manga and anime, so yes! Love them!
