Solve A Case
- Deduction Practice
The man was found at the airport toilet with puke around his mouth and collapsed to the side at 7pm PST on a Monday in August.
A retired salesman on his way with his wife and two of their grandchildren had gone to the toilet to wash the ketchup of his tie when he had heard some choking sounds from the inside and called for help. The dead man has black hair, tanned skin in his face and up to his elbows, but is otherwise pale. According to the passport found in his blue shirt, he is a 44 years old Chinese citizen. By following the number on the key in his pants pocket people were able to trace his steps back to a private sleeping cabin in the airport. There they found a bag filled with various Chinese documents, a French-Mandarin/Mandarin-French and an English-Mandarin/Mandarin-English dictionary and a pair of glasses.
Additionally, there was a nearly emptied package of Chloroquine, a half-full package of Aspirin and an empty wooden cigar box.
There was also a half-empty box of gluten-and milk-free cookies and a cup of Starbucks coffee with the initials R. C. on the small bedside table.
Next to it they found his wallet with 1567¥ and 20$U and a tissue that had one cream soaked edge.
In his wallet there were a VISA card of “Hang Seng Bank”, a bunch of Chinese, three Chilean, one Uruguayan and one Korean business cards. The Korean, two of the Chilean and the Uruguayan cards had the name of various infrastructure NGOs on them, while the US American business card belonged to Samford Tailors.
The most peculiar thing found in his cabin were three empty 0.5 liters Arrowhead water bottles carelessly placed or thrown on the floor.
What do you deduce?
