Here’s a lil photo snippet of how the crow man’s birthday goes this year hehe
We spend the morning sleeping in for once and just being cozy n loafing around the house for the most part (the other part being that we are fucking like animals when he gets too cuddly. which is all the time. oops).
I gift him the silver ring on his index finger (top middle pic) this year. It’s meant to resemble a four-pointed star for personal reasons that I am currently unable to disclose beyond it being a reference to us being each other’s “North Star”/beacon home symbol etc etc.
Then in the afternoon/evening we have plans with friends to go go-kart racing followed by a dinner to finish celebrating karasu day in style. The racing is tons of fun; Yukki and Tabito pull ahead the most in our group. My [lack of] driving skills in this setting opens Tabito’s eyes for why my family gets anxious when I’m behind the wheel. It’s embarrassing the way that I was playfully egging him on and talking smack before we got on the track (bottom right photo). At the end of our session, the manager on duty tells me that if they gave an award for the most spinouts, surely I would have won. But alas.
Oh! And one of my greatest accomplishments in this relationship is making Tabito laugh out loud, which is why I made his birthday cake myself this year :)
