thinking about how jensen ackles most likely knew how most of the fandom though he was still homophobic/believed he hadnt changed despite fighting to give us a proper ending only to be coerced into something he didnt want for his character, i cannot fathom how nerve-wracked he must have been about having no choice but to give us that ending... he did not deserve to deal with that, at all.
