ahhh okay im so glad some of yall are interested!! so here is like a small overview/some headcanons of the characters. sorry this took a bit, finals are kicking my ass. (just wanna emphasize that this is LOOSELY based on the umbrella academy)

+ so splinter is like reginald: distant, cold, etc.
+ because his career was basically ruined, he lives through the boys
+ very controlling
+ more like a sensei than a father
+ trained them since they were tots
+ still kept his family origins hidden
raph:
+ bbyboi is like a mix of luther and diego
+ gives off leader energy but is upset that he isn’t
+ never left the house(sewer)
+ more angry but not explosive (maybe a little)
+ shows the most affection, genuinely cares abt the family
donnie:
+ im imagining him as a mix of five and vanya
+ the weakest but the genius
+ first one to leave the sewer
+ most distant, cares for his brothers but too much trauma to properly express it
+ left to the hidden city and works for BM and BD
leo:
+ diego and klaus
+ hero/savior complex on high
+ second to leave the sewer with mikey
+ most upset with splinter/least phased abt his passing
+ no one knew where he was
+ he’s a dimension hopper
mikey:
+ my favorite
+ i imagine him as a mix of klaus and vanya
+ the bringer of the apocalypse
+ neglected youngest sibling syndrome
+ very forgiving, just wants his family together
+ is a famous artist on the internet and does a lot of graffiti
april:
+ im not very fond of allison but april is somewhat being portrayed as her
+ yokai guardian (runs in the family)
+ the reason the boys know abt the hidden city & mystic shiz
+ never met splinter bc the boys weren’t allowed to have friends
+ tried to keep in contact with the boys but raph was the only one that kept up
