Deekek got to speak with Syranita for the first time and received a blessing from the goddess, marked by the golden tipped feathers.

I just realized I never posted Deekek's level 5 outfit, her monk robes were starting to get a bit rough so she decided to keep them safe and wear her traveling clothes. She's still wearing her monk prayer beads though.

I know we just reached level 4, but I'm so excited for level 5. Deekek will finally get to meet Syranita, the aarakocra goddess. I've been wanting to do this piece for a very long time and finally worked up the courage to bust out the old watercolours and give it a shot!

Aarakocra are creatures of air and the wind is very important to them. Not only does it support and aid them in flight, but it also carries songs- the history of their people and letters from home. Every place has a song, but you have to listen very carefully to hear it. And sometimes, if you're lucky, Syranita will send you a song of her own.

Aarakocra are very affectionate and will often times sleep together in one large nest/bed. The most significant gesture of affection for them is touching foreheads, which to them means "I love you. You are safe with me. I am here for you. You can trust me."
