From weekend of 15 June 2014 (set one, Friday night)
Opening set for a combined birthday and burner decompression party, held over a long weekend in the middle of a freezing Gauteng winter. Also, a "Honey Moon" on Friday 13th along with a burn of an 8bit space invader effigy.
The mixing area was a mirrorball-decorated VW bus ... and I went on a journey through breaks, techno, psybreaks, psytech/progpsy from ~10pm till midnight or so.
Had fun, 'played', made mistakes and learnt some new recovery situations to plan for (equipment malfunction in the cold, speaker system to controller issues).
