Deep Soweto: This an example of Kasi rap is kasi rap any different from Hip Hop? NO! Well I Must say when DEEP SOWETO came out they changed the game to the core when everyone looked at vernac rap as Pro Kid they came in and demanded respect for it without compromising who they were and conforming to what the crowd expected of them now every kid has it on their phones. I remember travelling with Siya for a performance at Boston City Campus out in Sandton and he killed it, before heis performance he tried to give that punk Siya Ngwekazi the deep soweto mixtape and he was resistant fronting on him about the cover and how it was not professional forgetting that as black man we make due with what we have and "i guess thats the foundation of Hip Hop making something out of nothing." I have no beef with the man but I cant stand fronting ass niggas cause that was not just a diss to Siya but a diss on my nation or my hood cause the cover did not carry the music but the disc did and all he had to do was just bump it. I wonder where he grew up maybe he does not have poverty stricken cousins in the hood maybe all his family members are rich well off and never have to struggle to get by. Bottom line there is no better black man cause no matter how we can believe that we are now equal we are not cause the black man is still hungry and struggling. All Im Saying Is Dont Forget Where We Come From And Look Deeper Than What You See. And Stop Giving Props To Punks That Dont Deserve It! Yeah I Said !!!!!!!1
