Deep Space 5 is a Christian Hip-Hop super group composed of seven emcees. The group’s members include Manchild, Playdough, Sev Statik, Sintax, Listener, Fred B & Sivion. It is made up of a few Christian oriented groups and lyrically positive emcees.

Christian Hip-Hop can be hit or miss. I’m not a huge fan of anyone flaunting or preaching their religion but these cats put a positive spin on their lyrics without being overly religious. This song samples Hank Crawford’s Wildflower which is one of the most sampled songs ever, especially in Hip-Hop. Unique, Just Like Everyone Else was the group’s second full length release.

Today's track comes from the depths of the soul to promote the idea of letting go to people when they've left us completely. It isn't an easy topic to consider, even more, one to put into great lyrics and personal experiences. This song really pulls on the heart strings because it's often something we refuse to do, even when we know we have to. Just an incredible message behind solid production and lyricism.
