In order to improve the efficiency of directional drilling and reduce the cost, a series of new directional drilling technologies have emerged, which make the mode of directional well, horizontal well, extended reach horizontal well, multi branch well and drilling multiple horizontal wells in a well pad for factory development widely used. At present, the common directional well has become a conventional technology, and the application proportion of horizontal well is increasing year by year. With the exploration and development turning to deep water, more complex formations and unconventional oil and gas reservoirs, there is an increasingly urgent demand for innovative schemes in the field, which requires greater vertical depth, longer horizontal section and more branches, so as to promote the directional drilling technology to develop in a new direction.
