The fact he got snuck up on so easily was another sign that he has gotten sloppy. In his defense if there was anyone who could get the drop on him, of course it would be the Devil Of Hell's Kitchen.

"Red..." He spoke quietly. Frank's hand had already moved to his side holster the second he heard something. Since Matt hadn't immediately gone for a fight, that was enough for Frank to give him the benefit of the doubt. Even if only slightly. Their relationship never seemed clearly defined in truth. Whether Matt was there to take him to the cops, or to stop him from killing another criminal. "It's been a while since I last ran into you... Things the same on your end?"

As he asked that question he decided to remove his hand from his pistol holster. Matt deserved that much.

I just realized that both Logan and Matt have really good sense of smell, but who is stronger? I'm sure matt could sense Logan from a good distance but Logan's senses are really good too

According to Matt, Logan's senses are better! (At least his sense of smell; the rest are up for debate and are a topic of friendly contention between the two when they want to pester each other.)

He's also widely regarded in-universe as the best tracker in the world, in part because of how good his sense of smell is, to the point where he can even track Fantomex because he CAN'T pick up a scent:

Can track someone by scent when they're in a sewer and he's on top of a skyscraper:

He's also able to determine how many people are in a building by scent alone, and correctly diagnose illnesses at a distance by scent, even in groups of people, but I don't have those pages atm cause I'm at work.

I actually headcanon that one of the reasons he smokes so much is to try to temporarily dull his sense of smell when he doesn't need to track, because it can get overwhelming, though it really only works while he's actively got a cigar going, because his factor can purge the effects as fast as he can inhale it.

So anyway please don't wear body spray around him his nose is sensitive :(((
