I absolutely am! I've meant to get back to it for a while, now. Life's just been really chaotic, but I do have a draft for the next chapter that I'm working on, as well as an outline for the rest of the fic in general. Thank you so much for your kind words, friend! 💖

It's one of my favorite works, and I can't wait to read what happens next.

Yes! I actually have the majority of the next chapter (and parts of the subsequent chapters) typed out! It's just a matter of adding a few more scenes for continuity purposes and editing it all into something decent. I've known from the beginning where I wanted this fic to go, it's just a matter of getting it to come out of my brain. (The twists and turns to come will, I hope, be enjoyable!)

And thank you so so much for your sweet words, Nonny!! I'm so glad you enjoy Praetor's Pride! It's honestly one of my favorite fics to write, even if I'm really slow at posting updates.

So… I was ready your kid story with Shran and Soval and I had a thought

They are both male aliens dealing with a little human girl with human needs. They might be really smart and work among human, but there are thing they don’t know… right? Like, the girl needing help to stylish her hair or how to handle a sunburn, you know? Can we imagine two grown men being clueless about their daughter?

First off, I'm glad you're enjoying that lil fic. Second, I totally agree! There would be soooooo many things the two of them didn't know about Humans and how to raise one! I was wondering if that particular element of the fic would be worth expounding upon, and since seeing this ask, I'm inclined to believe that I should write a lil somethin' about those two trying to figure how to parent their smol Human girl.

Because I can soooo picture them being clueless about things and causing chaos trying to figure out what to do about it.

One of my favorite Soval T’Pol moments is in s2ep15 when archer says “the ball is in your court” and Soval looks to T’Pol like 🤨what does that even mean🧐

And T’Pol has to explain earth terms to him.

His wittle split second confused face is my favorite and makes me swoon 🥰

Honestly? Same! He's so cute when he's confused. I think it's bc he's normally so knowledgeable but maybe that's just me. Like awwwww, poor confused lil Vulcan mans 🥰

Hi Nonny! Absolutely, I do! There are a ton of amazing writers, both here and on AO3, especially for Star Trek since it's such a long-standing fandom. I will absolutely list some of my favorites, but please do not be afraid to explore the tags both on AO3 and here on tumblr, because there are a ton of amazing writers that I haven't encountered yet, and I'm probably leaving some out unintentionally. (I'm so sorry! My memory is like that of a gnat at times!)

Imagining old man Spock in relationship with this young (ie mid-twenties to early thirties), spunky S/O (I’m specifically imaging an afab person because…well, I am an afab and this may or may not be a shamelessly self-indulgent thought lmao) who is reckless, and flirty, and honestly sometimes a pain in the ass. And he can’t figure out what exactly it is about them that he finds so alluring, until one night he realizes….its because they remind him of Jim. (Is the S/O the reincarnation of Jim? Maybe. I won’t say yes or no 👀) -🌑

Oh my god, I cannot express how much I love this idea! Ngl, old man Spock was still fine af. Would. 100000% Would. 👀

But seriously, that would be such an incredible match! I adore the mix of a calm, logical Vulcan with a chaotic af Human as it is. But with old man Spock?? *feral growling* I NEED IT.
