Weekend Review: Did I Just Forget Friday Existed?
I think I did. I may be taking on too much and getting too little in return. I am trying really hard to get up early and get everything done, but it’s been a rough week and some areas of my life are slipping out from under me. I need to get a better hold on things and just get to it! Here’s to hoping next week that I can manage my time better and get tickets to see Justin Timberlake for free. That’s the beauty of living in LA and being near Jimmy Kimmel – may he never be cancelled. There’d go all my free music!
This week we had some pretty solid albums and an interview with BoyMeetsWorld. Great band of dudes, and if I had to pick an album of the week – Dangerkids owned it. That Linkin Park throwback was a nice touch on my week of mental chaos. Next week I’m going to TRY and bring about a lot more things daily because I’m backed up and we need to get these albums out to you guys. Can I pull off 7 things in 5 days? Let’s hope!
Also this week TV started to really trickle back in and New Girl. Anyone here watch that? Anyone here bored with Nick and Jess together? More Winston and Schmidt please and um…Brooklyn Nine-Nine wasn’t as awful as I thought it’d be and Dads, well Dads was okay. I felt like it tried too hard to be edgy most of the time. This week…We say goodbye to Dexter and like I said earlier this past week on my Facebook; even at its worst, it was better than most people at their best. TV will always be my best friend. I don’t care if that’s odd to say.
That’s it for this week. OH WAIT, there was a posting to write for Tiger Beat/Bop. I applied and if I don’t hear back…well, then fuck them, right?
