» : a future event my character would like to happen with them + yours [a daydream]
There's a million things that he could list about why Leah is literally the best of best friend he had (along with Minho, of course)--or why she played a vital part in his life, but never once would he vocally say that in her face because Jinyoung knew all-too-well that Leah is a girl with big head, self-conscious about herself--and would probably (most-likely) drown in amusement and praises over hearing the list, possibly rubbing it in his face every time they got into a debate (over the must mundane thing, that is). It's a peculiar friendship, so he realized. But none of them are sane nor normal enough to begin with.
They could go on and not talking for a count of days or weeks and still end up being best friend because that's probably how cool and laid-back they are (--and let's flashback to where Leah suddenly went missing into the center of the world for months and he got all sappy at first but ended up rolling his eyes at every single thing he did at the very next day).
She threw him all kind of nicknames: poop, jinpoop, lanky guy, shortie (in which he found this one very insulting considering the fact taht Leah is still shorter than him), idiot, you name it, and so he did the same too: whiny princess, whiny kid, kid, kiddo, shortie; and neither party were civil to each other (although he could recall a time where Leah got severely drunk and call him 'prince'--and yes, he keep a record of it foor a legit proof in-case she rebut) but there are also times when they would get along, bonding over their similar view towards the world ("Here's a cheer for us for surviving another day with boring job and boring life--", "We're amazing, right.").
And despite all the foul words and nasty nickname they threw at each other, Jinyoung swore to himself that he would not stay silent if someone hurt Leah (but knowing her for almost a year, that occasion never really happened since Leah is a strong woman to begin with).
Leah isn't the kind of girl who would believe love, that's something he know about her (he know too much about her, probably just as how she know too much about him either), and do you know when you watch a movie or a TV show and a pair of best friends make a pact to say that if they aren’t married or attached to someone by the time they’re forty, they’ll get together? Well, they most-likely wouldn't get together because he's pretty sure that Leah is more interested with girls, but then again, he could still imagine a chapter of his future self with Leah inside it.
No, she probably (affirmatively) wouldn't play the role as the wife (because let's be real here, all hell will broke loose if that happened), but he remember having this one dream one day: he's almost forty, the job is boring as ever and her wife is getting older as well (but still beautiful nonetheless) and he have two kids running around in the house: the younger one is female, three years old, and her big brother is already seven--and there's an addition of Leah sitting on his couch on one fine day (near dinner-time, so he learned on that dream), all of them waiting for the food to be ready.
They would be forty but still posses the mental age of five just like how they were when they're twenty (just a bit wiser), obscene words were thrown in the air as the alcohol tickled their senses when the sky is getting darker--they could talk about anything and act anything and none of them will judge each other because they've known each other too well.
And there's a part of him that says that Leah will most-likely busy venturing the world when she reached certain age in her life, a turning point, possibly trying to live the best of life she could--going all the way to Australia again considering the fact that she constantly rant about Koreans and how short most peoples here; nobody know, but Jinyoung is positive that even if they got separated, there's a moment that he will bound to meet her again--to throw nasty jokes at her, surreptitiously guarding her from hungry wolves out there and talk about any possible topic that's available. Perhaps at the age forty. Or fifty. Or possibly when they're in heaven. Who knows?
But god, one thing he was sure of is that his life will be so dull without her (and Jo Mino, but then again, this is a special tribute for Leah Son).
