Handwritten in its entirety because that was the ONLY way it wanted to be told. Which is why it's shorter than the norm, I suppose, but also because Kallus is grumpy about having feelings.

Took me 2 months to get from defect 51 to defect 52, and 2 months to get from defect 52 to defect 53.

It's been 6 days and now we have defect 54???

yes i last updated defect 5 months ago and yeah i maybe left us all on a cliffhanger, but the last 5 months - which i was EXPECTING to be hard - turned out instead to be absolutely BRUTAL, and the fact that i managed to climb out of the hole i've been in and write anything is honestly giving me an immense dose of hope for the future.

things get better, friends. even when you hit rock bottom and start chiseling, i promise you: things get better.
