It lights up the sky, beckoning enemies only to repel them.

I drew some of the voice lines of Fletcher in the second game. Enjoy.
The AI from Defense Grid is to be protected at all costs.
He is a very sweet lad. All he does the entire game is be helpful and compliment you. Whenever I’m stressed, I just pop in the game, play a few levels, and have him talk at me for a few hours.
Topi’s Daily Card #940: Defense Grid
Instants are often the bane of any combo player, or anyone who just wants to play their own game or ground pounders. Defense Grid helps negate a lot of those counters, or vastly slow down how people can answer you. paying five mana for a simple negate, or a whopping nine mana for something like Draining Whelk can really slow down people’s ability to respond to threats at instant speed. Now, if you can prepare for having this out, putting some activated abilities on creatures and other permanents can be the way to go, keeping your tricks out in the open but at a much cheaper cost. It’s a card that will throw a huge wrench in people’s plans to stop your own, or people who love doing ‘end of turn’ tricks. Don’t expect this to stay around for long or even resolve if it’s gonna be a real pain, but dropping as early as turn two or even turn one with a Sol Ring makes this a great card for when you want to be left alone on your own turn.
