these are questions i am asking MYSELF at the start of my notes that wrote for my coursework
What is the definition of ‘success’ in these texts? What identity is there to be covered? Is it disguise or is it a chameleon-like behaviour? What does this disguise take the form of it? What about London specifically demands disguise? Are the characters actually successful when in disguise? How does the form of each text present disguise?
