Australia is wild. What even is it? It's got wacky animals, the wiggles, weird names for desserts, weird white people obsessed with margarine.
It’s definitely wild dude. Our seasons are out of sync with the rest of the world and our time zones are always ahead of everyone else (except New Zealand). Our summers are so hot that when you run the tap on cold the water is warm.
Food’s an interesting matter. Vegemite is a source of discourse here - some of us like it, some of us hate it (I hate it too) and it doesn’t make it any better that Cadbury made Vegemite chocolate. We’ve also got Tim Tams (chocolate biscuit things that are a blessing) and Caramello Koalas (don’t ask).
Everyone’s so terrified to come to Australia because of the animals, but I’ll have you know it’s only the further out you go (in the outback and more rural areas) that you start to have all these bugs and stuff attacking you. Kangaroos and emus don’t roam wild on the streets where I live, but there are certain places you can spot a wild echidna!
I could go on about tv shows and politics and the schooling system, but I think I’ve rambled enough!
