Enamor Me- Valentine's Day
Leave a “Enamor Me” in my ask, and I will write a fluffy drabble about my character trying to woo yours [be it out of the blue/Valentines Day,feel free to specify.]
Two boxes were in his hands, two very different boxes; one contained chocolates, simple enough, the other contained a moon necklace, not so simple. One said, 'Hey it's Valentine's day! Have some food.', while the other said. 'Hey it's Valentine's day and I actually put forth effort!'.
They had not officially begun dating but they might have well been. Isaac let out a loud sigh and put the boxes under his arm and stood outside the door of the Hale's current 'home'. She probably could here his heart beating like a madman. In fact, he was surprised that she hasn't opened the door and pushed him inside.
With his hand on the door knob a thought popped into his head. Flowers. You have to get her flowers. So, he quickly headed back out to the store, for the third time that day.
Roses, too generic. Cora was special, not generic. Lilies? No. Weird white things...maybe. After staring at the large assortment of flowers for a couple of minutes, Isaac grabbed one of each flower. This should be good. That way, you can't mess up.
On his way to the checkout he saw a stand filled with plush teddy bears, rabbits, and dogs. Stuffed things...yeah she might like that. He grabbed the large bear holding a heart that said, 'UR Berry Special' and quickly put it back. That would've probably earned him a slap. Instead, he went for the tiny white bear with a red ribbon.
He showed up to the Hale home again, his arms a fuller and his wallet emptier. Breathe. She won't punch you on Valentine's Day...I hope. With the hand that held the bear and chocolates, he was able to crack open the door and kick it a bit with his foot.
Cora looked, well, completely shocked and slightly disgusted. "Happy Valentine's Day!" Isaac announced over the bouquet of flowers blocking his vision. "Oh Isaac." Was all she said. Cora took each item from him one by one, inspecting it. The bear, she seemed unimpressed, the flowers, apparently if you have one of each they smell horrendous, the chocolates, she seemed happy enough, but the necklace. "Oh Isaac!" This time she sounded much more pleased.
"It's a moon because, well, you know." Isaac gave a light chuckle as she turned around, holding up her hair for him to put the necklace on. "It's perfect."
