This week on "Extremely Uncomfortable Things I've been Made To Do" shake hands and converse nicely with the neighborhood boy who used to physically and verbally harass me when we were kids.

At least my mom hasn't yelled at me for not making eye contact - yet.

My partner:

I am sorry. I also still do not understand why you let your parents make you do things.

Sitting around with my new ear defenders on. No one’s being loud right now, but my roommate slammed the door a couple times getting ready this morning and the pressure over my ears is Good(TM) and making my morning less bad.
