Python Functional Testing
Python is one of the most widely used programming languages along with Java and C. The usage of the Python language is steadily growing and the popularity of test automation frameworks that are based on Python is increasing too. Needless to say, this programming language already comes with a set of tools that can help create automated tests for your application. But while looking for the most suitable framework, developers and testers may be a little bit unsure. It is necessary to take into consideration such things as scripting quality, test case structure and the required technique to test the application modules and identify their defects. Currently, there are 5 excellent Python frameworks to know. The first one is the Robot framework, that can operate well with Windows, MacOS or Linux operating systems. The next one Pytest – open source, quite easy in use, but is meant more for unit testing. Then follows UnitTest or PyUnit – a popular low level test automation framework.
