Congrats to this man on being first to get a hat with the updated carbine hat test. Changes were needed since over the years more and more students have become faster and accurate……..I’m humbled by this. So the original carbine test is still a part of it; standing to prone, 10 rds under 14 seconds and score 90 from 100 yds……but in addition you have to have a sub .75 low ready, sub 1.0 high ready, sub 2 second bill drill (L/R) all into a half A zone (6”x6”) from 7 yds and have no misses while doing each skill 5 times in a row. Low and high ready positions are military standards not some of the cheesy cheater positions that aren’t tactically based.
