   “ are you certain  already  milady?  “  Tohma  inquired,  as  he  stood  behind  the  heiress ;  eyes  wondering  towards  the  direction  where  a  commotion was  heard.  Women  and  Men  of all  ages  enjoying  the   stalls  that  was  decorated  with  such  festivities  and  creativity.

    Ah   another   ,  local  festival  in  inazuma  had  been  held,  sometimes  the  blonde  couldn’t  help  but  wonder  if  baal’s  people  even  concern  themselves  with  the current  situation  of  their  nation .  His  gaze  turned  back  to  the  hopeful  looks  of  the  other,  hand  placed  on  her  fan  tightly  as  she  stood  stiffly ;  ungracefully.  still  a  child  who  wanted  nothing  but  to  join  the  festivity.

     “ we  still  have  free time to spare, before we  head  home,  if you want to look  around,  i can accompany  you  in it. “

It had been some time since she had found herself in this strange world - through a few scattered texts she had encountered in the wilderness, she had at least learned that the name of it...it wasn’t as though she could go up to one of the locals and ask, after all.

Nor would she want to even if she did encounter someone - being alone was better....safer for all parties involved; yes, there were monsters...but they didn’t bother her provided she afforded them the same courtesy - there were some rather unusual, seemingly sentient flora as well, but those...those she could handle with ease.

Despite the harsh terrain, she appreciated it for the peace it afforded her - she was alone, unfettered, left to her own devices...despite the odd circumstances, she could only hope that what he senses allowed her to experience was real, rather than something she was being made to by the cruel, unfeeling hands of those that confined her for so long.

Today seemed as though it would pass by uneventfully, nothing but the sound of rushing water, rustling leaves, the faint melody of a lyre...the music on the breeze made her start, encouraged her to peer through the scant spaces in the foliage of the tree she currently nested in, keen to ensure she stayed hidden; why would anyone wander so far into the woods?

        “ vivaan ? ” venadas calls, though he knows it to be somewhat pointless when the other couldn’t give him a vocal response to speed along the process. there’s a few hours’ break between masses so he’d decided to check in on the other, but vivaan is nowhere to be seen. not in the room he’d chosen, not in venadas’ office / bedroom ( for whatever reason ). the priest is about to write it off as him having simply slipped out through the lower level’s exit on the other side of the hill until he takes notice that the door to the mortuary - chapel is slightly ajar.

        a sigh escapes him as he walks over to shut it. he’d probably forgotten to when he’d been in there that morning and it’s not like the lock works, anyway. except, spotting movement through the space, he freezes for a beat. then, recognition settles into his features as he opens the door, amusement on lips that begin to say, “ haha, vivaan, you’re in here again ? are the deceased really ... so ... ”

        oh, sweet barbatos ... as wine red eyes had scanned the space, they paused on an uncovered body that had recently been moved in here after a service that morning and he’d been preparing for burial the next day. they were wrapped in cloth, bound only hours prior. now, however, the face is out in the opening. missing from it ---

        “ what the fuck ? ” he’s going to be sick ---

dfghjfdsgfdsgfd this is so much funnier knowing just how many gods actually walk among them. is he talking about tsaritsa who couldnt get her fatui to properly take him down ? is he talking about murata who gave him a vision and by extension the power to cause that much more trouble ? is he talking about barbatos whos casually letting him take the protection of mondstadt into his own morally questionable hands ? who knows but it sure is gonna be someones problem

❛     are  you  here  to  check  this  place  out  too  ?  well  ,  since  i  got  here  first  ,  i’ll  spare  ‘ya  the  trouble  .  there  really  isn’t  anything  of  note  over  here  .  at  least  ,  not  related  to  that  strange  disappearance  ...  you  are  here  about  that  ,  right  ?     ❜  

you  might  as  well  not  ask  at  all  ------  there’s  no  other  reason  someone  would  come  out  to  a  place  like  this  .  you  wonder  ,  is  this  gal  here  about  that  commission  from  the  adventurers’  guild  ,  too  ,  or  is  she  an  independent  party  ?  either  way  ,  she’s  almost  definitely  not  a  threat  to  someone  like  you  ,  and  it  couldn’t  hurt  to  offer  her  a  little  bit  of  a  hand  .

❛     you’re  free  to  look  for  yourself  all  you  like  ,  but  all  i  found  was  some  unrelated  research  notes  from  the  guy  that  went  missing  .  not  much  of  anything  that  could  help  figure  this  whole  thing  out  .     ❜  you  hold  up  the  notes  you  snatched  from  the  abandoned  campsite  ,  waving  them  around  a  little  to  emphasize  that  look  ,  really  ,  that’s  all  there  was  !  ❛     real  shame  if  you  ask  me  ,  i  think  this  guy  was  onto  somethin’  about  ...  whatever  it  is  he  was  lookin’  into  ,  i  didn’t  bother  thinkin’  about  it  too  much  .  anyways  ,  you  can  have  these  too  ,  they’re  not  very  useful  to  me  .     ❜

@dehimmel​ for piti - sleepy mornings

The first thing he feels after opening his eyes was a sharp pain from his right eye. Often did the foreign eye give him headaches, and waking up with them was normal as well. It only caused him to close his eyes once more, a soft groan leaving his lips before he forces himself to sit up. Where was he again?

A quick look over his surroundings reminds him. Right, he made it back to the church. He was likely laying in Piti’s bed again. He’ll have to apologize for the inconvenience, again. But he didn’t see the doctor around. The assassin frowned and tossed back the covers and got to his feet. After putting on his signature coat and collecting all his knives that likely Piti or Sukha laid out for him, he goes to search for the doctor. Maybe he has something for his headache, he normally did.

“Piti? You here?” He wandered around the different rooms of the basement for awhile - maybe he was in the mortuary-chapel?
