★ His ears flicked as he felt someone following him while walking around Ishgard, he could tell they were a female by the light step of the feet 'Hmm' he slowed his walk to a stop and then turned around and walked toward her, she had a look in her eye's he noticed as he got closer. Once he was close to her he grabbed her arm and dragged her off to somewhere more out of sight keeping his hold on her he looked into her eye's "Can I help you?" he asked his ears twitching in slight annoyance.
Kyrie pulled her arm away from the black-clad Miqo’te, warily checking the weapons on his back. His gaze was intense, boring into her for a response. “My apologies,” she said curtly. “I was following to see if you were some sort of hunter…”
Deimos looked at her in question and raised an eyebrow. “Most of the time, when someone is being followed, that person means to harm them.” He looked around, making sure there weren’t any others that looked questionable. “But yes, I am a hunter…of sorts. Why, do you have a request?” he said, looking back at her.
“There are a few things I would like to ask. First off, how about a name?” Kyrie furrowed her brow but remained intrigued nonetheless. This man was a league apart from the other hunters in the city. He carried himself with a noble, aloof air befitting someone of high station. Yet, there was an unusual aura of antiquity about him; he was clearly different from any ordinary Miqo’te Kyrie had met before.
“My name is Deimos,” he said, giving a small bow. “I will apologize for grabbing you a bit roughly. I’m not very fond of being followed is all, so I was slightly put off and on edge.” He paused. “May I have your name as well?” he asked, feeling curious.
“It’s Kyrie, Kyrie Silverwings. I have never heard nor seen you before, thus the tailing. Your reaction is understandable, and I apologize for it in kind.” Kyrie tilted her head out of curiosity. Deimos was guarded, yet gracious in demeanor; she found his professional conduct disarming. “Perhaps I have a request in mind, but it depends on what you specialize in hunting…”
Deimos nodded his head slightly. “The fewer who had heard of me, the better. I only come here on request.” Giving her a pointed stare, he hummed. “Mmm, I can hunt anything that is required of me, as long as its worth my while,” Pausing again, his ears flicked. “And if its something on a personal level, I try not to mess with those.”
Kyrie raised a hand to her chin. “Well, that explains your unfamiliarity… So you work through contracts, a bounty hunter? How long have you been in operation?” Kyrie focused again, unable to shake the feeling that something was still off. He was a mystery, this Deimos, and as always, Kyrie felt compelled to learn about him. That mystique he carried intrigued her, but behind that a lurking sense of secrecy around his actions was bait enough.
