The figure gets closer and closer, and as she does, it gets brighter and brighter, and soon the figure stopped before the scared pony.
A majestic looking unicorn, with a long flowing tail, covered with flowers, and a mane with flowers, done in such a style that would eventually remind the lavender pony something familiar.
The horn, long and protruding a small one, like that of a tree branch, eyes that gazed down on Twilight, with a look of benevolence and worry. Her hooves, having patches of fur on them and the hooves being cloven, and a cutie mark that resembled Twilight’s: a white starburst withing a jagged violet starburst.
And on top of her head, a familiar crown, with the purple starburst gemstone decorated on the tip, with five colored gemstones that lined beneath it: the Elements of Harmony.
The mysterious unicorn, lowers her neck down to the battered pony, and spoke in a soft motherly tone, almost like that of Princess Celestia. The radiance and magic this pony was giving off not only was it powerful and ancient, perhaps even older than the Princesses, but it also felt… comforting.
Shhh.~
Don’t be afraid… my little pony…~
I promise I won’t hurt you… You are in a safe place, little one…
She then laid around Twilight, protectively, as she looks down at the smaller pony, smiling soft and warmly.
You are lucky to have found this place, dear. The creatures of the Everfree aren’t very forgiving at night…
But they won’t come to this cave… not while I’m here. I promise…

From fear to bedazzlement. The darkness of the forest was blinded by the very essence of the being before her. Her own magic tingled in response, her instincts and wills already knowing to be calmed, to obey the ancient one before her.
“I... you...” she gasped out, fatigued, letting her final defenses fall away. Twilight let her legs buckle beneath her, laid down upon the untamed floor of the woods. “I feel like---I know you. You--you remind me of... of a sacred place...”
Yes, the feeling the princess had now, she had known of before. They had gone together as friends to visit such a place, many a time.
She let her neck fall last, let her eyes shut, noises of pain no longer stifled from her throat. The fear had passed, and she felt safe.
