米飯傳奇。a new japanese-style restaurant that is causing a storm in Nanjing. The line-up was unending but good thing our friend found a way in. The food was quite good and tasty. Most of the main courses were rice bowls (as the restaurant promotes the concept of "ritz," or rice) with other sashimi options available as well. I had the signature beef rice bowl, which tasted delicious, and came with a bunch of appetizers (like most of the main courses), including Japanese steamed egg, seaweed, fresh miso soup, cold vegetable side dishes, salad, and tea. The restaurant is located on the top floor of Deji plaza, with an outdoor area that is nice for taking pictures and strolling. Our table was right beside this area and we felt a cool breeze throughout our meal, setting a relaxing and autumn-y vibe to the meal. This place is ideal for a simple dinner with a unique Japanese experience. Would definitely come back!
