I’m thinking I can start this off around...the end of next week? No-one seemed to object to my vague plot ideas of, modern-day holiday fake-relationship AU, so I think that’s what it’ll be? With 8 of us (which means 9 chapters, since I’ll pop back in at the very end), I think that should be roughly 3-4 days between posting dates, so I’ll do the schedule by the end of this week; let me know if there’re any dates/days of the week/etc that *won’t* work for you, if you haven’t already. :-)

It's National Girlfriend Day! This piece of art, this actual angel on earth is my best friend in the entire world. We've known each other for nearly all 20+ years of our lives and I can't imagine a world without her. She's my rock, my star, my rockstar. i’m not sure i’ve seen many of those. does winter soldier count? if not, what about the fifth element?

i believe that… something. fate? the universe? the gods? puts some people in our lives because they’re meant to be there, whether that be as a friend, a lover, or as someone we graft into our family. i’d even go so far as to say i’ve met a few of mine.

43.What’s your current problem?

i’m procrastinating a 1300 word paper that’s due tuesday, a 6 page paper that’s due on the 8th, and 10 pages of original fiction that are due on the 7th. also, tfw no bf

E. If you could live and be healthy without sleeping or eating/drinking, which would you cut out of your life?

sleeping. i mean, i’m gonna operate on the technicality that this means “mentally healthy” too & that being constantly awake wouldn’t drive me absolutely bonkers. if so, being able to pull an all-nighter for school or just drive non-stop when i wanna travel cross-country would be much more beneficial than the maybe 90 minutes/day i could cut out by not eating/drinking ever again

I am a strong believer that the more you know about an actor the harder it is to disconnect the celebrity from the character(s) they portray on screen. One of the things I least enjoy about tumblr and fandom in general is the insatiable need to pick at every detail of a person’s private life; the more I know the more I’m guaranteed I DIDN’T want to know about somebody, you get me? 

I too long for the days of FC/Shame etc. when he was just a gorgeous and brilliant young thing that burst into our psyches, and he was making really interesting, bold choices with his roles. I find the past few years to be a lot of ‘making movies with young and old white ‘famous’ auteur male directors for the prestige’ and I think he needs to get back to looking for some solid roles and scripts not solely designed to be Oscar bait or for giant opening weekends.

10. Most disliked arc? Why?

Pretty much Raven’s entire arc in the XMFC trilogy. She’s poorly written, her motivations are all over the place and she comes across as petulant to me instead of smart and assertive. Really the only interesting element of the character’s reboot in the prequels is making her and Charles ‘siblings’...
