Sorry but i just need to rant to soneone who won't judge me for gushing over a piece of Dark fiction.

I read an over 300.000 + word OverDeku fanfiction with age difference, Student/Teacher dynamics, where Kai is mentally ill, life sucks and in the end it's framed as a Tragedy because all of them were okay with them ending together.

The story is about Kai becoming the new History teacher in Deku's school. He has OCD (and probably other mental illness) and is very good masking. He is having a hard time because off asshole students *cofBakugoucof* and Deku tries to help him, being a sweetheart, trying to interest his classmates on the subject and cleaing his desk. He tries to put his best smile on but all the bullying had affected him, he sometimes harms himself, has "offing" ideation and is in a very dark place.

Kai becomes obsessed with him and wants to "save" him. The story covers the three years of highschool and how Kai manipulates people to be able to be near Deku. I felt super conflicted because he is basically gr**ming Deku but at the same time he is kinda helping him out and saving some people just because it would make Deku happy? And is repulsed at first of the idea of having sex with Deku because he feels he would "dirty" him? And helps him when Deku is in his lowest moment? Like, from the outside he looks like this really nice yet akward guy who just want to help his students but is not??

And in the end he marries Deku, like five years after he graduated, and everybody is happy for them and basically he gaslighted everyone including Bakugou who was the one who most supicious was of him AND WAS RIGHT?? And is presented like a tragedy???

IS SO FREAKING GOOD!!!!

Sorry for the rant but i just needed to share with someone my feelings for this questionable piece of fanfiction.

Asexual Overhaul Headcannons

Chisaki has always figured he didn’t have sex because it was disgusting and a sharing of body fluid. Not to mention fear of being infected by unknown diseases.

He’s kissed a few people in his life. Shoving the urge to throw up back down his throat

He knows he’s not normal, he’s never been normal . He doesn’t understand because he should be able to feel something. Anything other than....nothing.

Que overhaul meeting a quirkless person and casually dating them [+ possibly overdeku? It’s a rare pair but great when done right.] because he thinks this might just be the one.

He likes to spoil them, taking them out to eat and showing them around exquisite art galleries. He cherishes them like a prized trophy but not like a possession. More like something he admires and adore. He loves them more than he thought was possible.

Eventually it comes down to being more intimate and at first his kisses are hesitant. Short and blunt, nothing more than light pecks on the lips and a soft kiss to the cheek.

Months go by and they can’t get past first base. Kai knows he loved them but he has no desire to ravish them in their pretty little shirts and fitted jeans.

His partner questions him five moths into the relationship because they feel unloved. They feel like nothing more than a distraction to overhaul.

He swears up and down that he loves them. That there is no one else he would rather be with but, he can’t do any more. He can’t go farther because he just can’t. There’s no explanation other than that.

It’s hard after that. Chisaki fears they’ll leave him because he’s more than infected. He’s broken.

His s/o has a hard time as well, but it goes 1 of 2 ways

They learn to accept it, because this is their Kai, and while it’s a relationship filed with frustrations on both ends. One feeling guilty for wanting sex and the other for holding their s/o back because they won’t have intercourses. They make it work, because they love each other.

It last a little over a year and a half but eventually they crave the large whole they’re missing. Sex is one of the bare basics of a relationship and they feel incompelete. It’s too much for them to handle and in the end they’re both left broken hearted.
