You know I gotta do it to ya now, What would Sparky think of Del?
Both Sparky and Del don’t open up easily, and they can seem intimidating to others because of that. So Sparky won’t try and pry anything out of Del, and he respects that Del doesn’t bug him, either. Once they’re in the same dorm, Sparky might feel more at ease talking to him, since he sees him more often.
Del might not be a fan of Sparky’s high-and-mighty attitude, but Sparky’s not exactly fond of how Del sneaks up on him when he’s trying to freak him out. He’s gotten used to Del, though, and is learning to figure out when he’s around so that he isn’t caught off-guard. Sparky recovers quickly, but still. It’s not cool to sneak up on someone. If he and Del could find someone to mess with together, they’d be a scary duo to go up against.
(Sparky’s also trying to figure out a way he can prank Del for once. He needs to get him back for the time he put that stinky stuff in his conditioner. So what if Sparky’s got nice hair and he takes care of it? Del’s just jealous. At least, that’s what he’ll tell himself.)
Sparky’s pretty impressed by Del’s memory. He might even rely on it sometimes - but he’d also hate it when Del brings up something embarrassing that Sparky said or did, especially if someone Sparky’s trying to flirt with is hanging around. In fact, I bet that’s one of Del’s favorite ways to mess with Sparky. I don’t know how Del feels about Sparky’s habit of calling everyone by their last names, but Sparky will call him “Lethe” unless corrected.
I can see them standing together in the back of a dorm meeting, muttering to each other under their breath, poking fun at someone or talking about how dumb they think something is. Both Sparky and Del are protective of the Shroud brothers, but I can imagine that happening in different ways. Sparky, for example, would be someone who’d be glad to run errands or do other “outside” things for Idia when he absolutely can’t leave his room. The two of them could work together to make sure nobody hurts their housewarden or his brother.
