Del: *sitting on one of Team RASP's hammocks* I have a perfectly fine level of paranoia.

*Ruby, Jaune, Weiss and Pyrrha are hit in the chest with foam darts in quick succession.*

Del: Also, that's two points off of all of your situational awareness scores, I've been here for the past minute.

Ruby: GAH! BATTLE FORMATION R-58! GROUND HER!

Del: Be faster next time. *Flies out the window as a heavy metal chain thrown by Pyrrha wraps around the hammock she was sitting on moments before*

In a restaurant in the cramped outskirts of Vale, a stone's throw away from hugging the Wall, a woman sits.

She's confident and relaxed, wings splayed out against the booth seat she's lounging in.

Across from her is a man, significantly more nervous, tense and hunched over.

Jaune: *coughing awkwardly* So, master-

Del: *groaning* Kid, for the love of god, don't call me that.

Jaune: But you trained me!

Del: Yes, I trained you enough during our trek to Vale so that you wouldn't go splat during Beacon Initiation, but please don't call me that. It makes me feel weird.

Del: Now eat up kid. Fried chicken, Mistrali style. My treat.

Jaune: Um. Not exactly hungry...

Del: Pshhh. Everybody gets hungry after being kidnapped, kid. Don't try to play it tough.

Jaune: *slowly takes a few bites of chicken* ...do you have a lot of experience with that?

Del: *grumbling* More than I'd like. *knocks back a drink*

Jaune: What's that?

Del: It's called sake and it's delicious. You want some?

Jaune: I can't, I'm underage!

Del: *snort* I started drinking sake after I got kidnapped by that bitch and I was wayyy younger than you. It'll be fine.

Jaune: You were kidnapped by her too!?

Del: Well, only technically. I saved her from kidnapping my little sister by body checking her back through one of her shitty portals. Then she just didn't let me leave.

Jaune: But all that stuff about about you being her daugh-

Del: Now enough about me, how about you? How's Beacon been treating you, found any redheads? *waggles eyebrows*

Jaune: Um, yeah?

Jaune: Uh yeah, how did you know?
