Some color doodle studies that turned into tarot cards for one of our Pathfinder campaigns! These are all folks from our part-time campaign, where we do little connected adventures bit by bit whenever we’ve got a spare night or two, and also test out different character builds at time!
Left to right, top row
Nine of Swords: Fray, played by @punishandenslavesuckers - a witch/warlock who has made certain decisions that have gone certain ways and oh jeeze he could really use a W, you know? He’s great and an asshole baby.
Knight of Pentacles: Amon Kumo - a noble paladin of a champion, driven by pure goodwill and the nicest dude you’ll ever meet. Pure goodboy distilled from essence of yellow labrador. Also will bash u with his spiked shield.
Three of Wands: Arden, the perfect girl scout, and her companion Burr the black bear - the absolute ideal of rangers everywhere, Arden is effective, brilliant, perceptive to a scary degree, and able to survey both the fields of the wild and of social-political maneuvering. We love Arden and if anything happens to her we WILL riot.
Left to right, bottom row - characters I play in this campaign! I alternate between them depending on story and what the party composition needs
The Hanged Man: Malakur - who has taken fate into her own hands and succumbed to it, a berserking fighter possessed by the spirits of her ancestors and of all the furious dead who desire absolution. Here to deliver incredible asskickings as well as exorcisms and motherly protection as needed.
Seven of Swords: Del’ethys - this fucking elf stole my wallet and fucked my husband and lit our barn on fire and fed my dog sausages and
look what’s important is that Del’ethys has never done anything wrong in her life ever and has never had to run away from a horrible past that would be stupid.
