Let me clear my throat.

For all of those who thinks Rutgers is just a huge party school mixed with unnecessary scandal, you are only partly right.

Rutgers University is not necessarily where all the bad apples fall.  The school is actually pretty incredible.  Although huge at first glance, the school offers many classes with a small amount of students engaged in learning.  The only reason we get so reckless in the weekend is because we spent so much time working our asses off during the week.  School-work wise, Rutgers has great Professors and the majority have the students' success in mind. We have many top-tier departments with students that are engaged in my different activities that the school offers.

I know lately RU has been receiving a lot of negative press and scrutiny  but we are more than staff that humiliates the entire Athletic department and we are more than stupid and dangerous college students.  We are bright and we are successful.  Just recently, we raised over 500k for Embrace the Kids Foundation!  Just know that because of the size of the school, you can be anything you want to be.  You can party 7days a week and burn couches in the middle of the street, you can stay in your dorm and study alll the time, and you can even be the level-headed kid that does a little bit of everything in between.

Don't let the actions of a few students and faculty destroy the image of the great institution that Rutgers University is.
