First Bath

We did William's first real bath today. He had had sponge baths previously, but he spit up all over himself and me, so we figured it was time.

He did what babies will do, and I had to clean that up, too. Everything is a trial by fire with this kid. Luckily, we figured it out, and now he's clean, happy, fed, and sleeping. Yay! Milestone achieved.

Oh, and for the record, we delayed sponge bathing until he was about 2 weeks old. He didn't even have one at the hospital. I thought delayed bathing was gross at first, but I think he kept his new baby smell longer and we bonded better. My $.02.
