RepostBy @crackedrosecoloredglasses_us: "32 years ago today Philadelphia Police dropped a C4 explosive on the home of the MOVE family (a predominantly black organization with anarcho primitivist ideology), destroying 61 homes on the 6200 block of Osage Avenue. This was after 500 police officers fired 10,000 rounds into the home. Eleven MOVE members were killed, including 5 children, and hundreds of bystanders were left homeless. All of this was aired on television. No Philadelphia official connected to the decision to drop the bomb or to let the fire burn has ever faced charges. This seems to be a story that no one outside the Philadelphia area has ever heard, and it's even unknown by many residents. This trailer is from Jared Osder's 2013 documentary, "Let the Fire Burn", which I strongly recommend.
