synopsis: a rainy, wine-fueled late night rendezvous.
It was rainy November night, the scene outside the window was misty and milk coloured. The room was dimly lit, with some light coming in from a nearby room. The both of you were sitting on the floor of the lounge, your legs stretched out in front of you. Across from you was a table, whose legs disappeared into the thick fur rug it was situated on. The light from the ceiling reflected on the wine inside of the wine glasses situated on the table. On the table were a stack of Uno cards and empty wine bottles.
You both felt hazy and hot from the wine. The wind coming from the slightly ajar window kissed your damp faces helping to cool you down. You fell about yourselves in an alcoholic haze, laughing at nothing in particular. You were content though you needed a good laugh, apparently so did he. When you had called him earlier you didn't think he'd come, he promised you that he would, but you didn't want to believe him.
Immediately after the phone call, you'd regretted calling him over. Why did you do it? You knew you shouldn't have but you wanted to see him. You needed to see him.
"It's not even that funny," Dele said of the story he had been telling you. It really wasn't but you laughed anyway simply because it felt good to laugh.
"It was." you lied taking a sip of wine from the cup that was in your hand.
"You're lying," he said, grabbing the cup from your hand and emptying it of its contents. You didn't argue with him instead you crawled over to the table and picked up the pear-shaped wine bottle on the edge of the table. You remember it feeling light and peering into the bottle only to find that there wasn't much wine left.
You took your place next to him again, bottle in hand and offered it to him. He declined. You didn't want it either so you placed the bottle next to you and you forgot about it.
He placed a ringed hand on your exposed thigh. Feeling brave you placed yours over his and picked it up. His hand was much larger than yours. Slowly you began to inspect his hand nonchalantly pressing small delicate kisses to each finger. He chuckled, so did you.
You brought his hand up to your face and rested your cheek on his palm. You closed your eyes and felt it felt as though your face was melting into his soft palm. A hot tear slipped out of your eye and tickled your cheek. You opened your eyes and was meant with an expression that seemed to be one of both concern and desire.
He swiped his thumb underneath your eye and wiped the tear away. He then swiped his salty thumb across your slightly parted lips.
"Y/n why'd you call me?" he said his lips just inches from your own.
"Dele... " you said, your lips remaining slightly ajar to accommodate your heavy breathing.
"Be honest." his voice was low and just above a whisper, but there was a sternness to it. He knew why you'd call him hearing the answer was purely for his own satisfaction. The sick bastard.
You moved closer closing the distance between your lips. Your lips brushed his. He pulled back with a smirk playing on his lips. Your heart was beating fast in your chest. You felt sick but you wanted him. You needed him. He knew that.
He inched towards you painfully slow before joining your lips to his. Turning his head he deepened the kiss while closing his lips over yours, you did the same the both of you fighting for dominance. He won. His hand crawled up your arm sending a shiver up your spine and clasped his hand around your neck; he had you right where he wanted you. Your lips parted as you let out a moan and he a throaty chuckle.
You hoisted yourself up and took your place on his lap straddling him. He kissed the corner of your mouth and moved across to your jaw. He slowly kissed down your neck making sure to bite the spot below your ear. His kisses were slow, sloppy and passionate, he was in no hurry. He brought his hands up to your shoulder and pushed the straps of your backless dress down revealing to him your breasts. He gently kissed and caressed your breasts causing you to rock your hips over his growing erection.
Dele laid you down onto the floor and began to slowly undress you. You looked past his shoulder at the ceiling not wanting to focus too much on the feel of his hands on your body. You curled your arm around his neck and drew his body close to yours, you kissed beneath his earlobe. He chuckled into the crook of your neck then pressed his lips to your neck and started leaving a string of soft kisses down your neck.
You connected your lips to his own, drinking him in. He moaned into your mouth thrusting his hips into yours. Making love to him that night felt almost intoxicating. It was better than any drug there was. It was a much-needed distraction. It was slow, you were both in no rush, your gazes fixed on each other as if you were the only two people in the entire world...

You laid awake in the darkness, the moon was the only source of light. Dele was sound asleep, with one arm loosely around you and the other was rested on his naked torso. You rested your hand over his chest and watched it heave up and down slowly, your cool breath brushing his armpit. Quietly you got up from the bed and walked over to the window. It was still raining and you were very cold. You slipped back beside Dele, wrapping the warm blankets around you.
"It's still raining,” you mumbled into the darkness. "Are you awake?" you spoke again.
"Uh-huh… "
"Well, I-"
"Shh, just listen to the rain baby."
And with that your eyes got heavier and heavier as your body melted into Dele's warm body, the rain was the only sound in the dark room.
