Since two of the three people behind this project have gained a second wind in the creative process, I've stewed on the idea of assembling my playlist for the AU and posting it, in addition to adding the cast for this to my daily sketch practices. This time around I want to ACTUALLY add info pages for crucial character and story elements, and I also want to clean up the tags so we'll have an easy tag list to delve into. It’s not dead… It’s just hit a road block recently with the project heads all being in separate towns (one is overseas, even), so it’s difficult for us to collaborate.
But this project is still very dear to us and one we discuss often yet, so I’m hoping we can get it back on its feet soon enough.

Aaaah! Your excitement’s seriously making me excited! I really hope we can live up to expectation! This AU has been our pet project for a while now, and seeing people already keen on the idea now that we’ve started getting things in motion is so encouraging!
And agreed on the Kairi bit. I’m so very fond of her, and she seems to constantly get the short end of the stick in canon, so giving her a chance to shine is really fun.

Excellent! The three of us are kind of FF8 nuts, so you might catch some of the others from FF8 that weren’t in Kingdom Hearts canon (seeing as the story is different, so naturally some new locations will get thrown into the mix, along with the chance to make use of other Square and Disn*y kids that we’ve been wanting to see).

It occurred to Rav, Lock and me that Xion wouldn't look the same in our AU thanks to certain circumstances. I'd say, but I'm not sure how much 358/2 Days counts as spoilers for the fandom, so... At any rate, we have a Xion here that physically pulls traits from both Riku and Sora, in the end we chose the middle one. And yes, more lazy on by behalf: I couldn't get his missing eye to work with me.
