This low-carb cauliflower pizza crust is a tasty and healthy alternative to regular pizza crust. It is also gluten-free and keto-friendly. It tastes great and lets you eat your favorite pizza toppings without feeling bad about it.
Ingredients: 1 medium head of cauliflower, grated. 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded. 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated. 1/4 cup almond flour. 1/4 cup flaxseed meal. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 1 egg. 1/4 cup tomato sauce. 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded for topping. Your favorite pizza toppings e.g., pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers.
Instructions: Turn on your oven and heat it up to 425F 220C. Put the grated cauliflower in a bowl that can go in the microwave. Heat it for four to five minutes, or until it's soft. Put the cauliflower in a clean kitchen towel or cheesecloth after it has cooled down. Try to squeeze out as much water as you can. Put the squished cauliflower, 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, almond flour, flaxseed meal, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and the egg in a bowl. Mix everything together well. Put parchment paper on a baking sheet and use the cauliflower mixture to make a 12-inch pizza crust on the paper. The crust should be baked in a hot oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until it's firm and golden brown. After taking the crust out of the oven, cover it with tomato sauce. Cover the sauce with the last 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese. Then, add your favorite pizza toppings. Put the pizza back in the oven and bake for another 10 to 12 minutes, or until the cheese melts and bubbles. Wait a minute or two before cutting and serving the pizza. Have fun with your low-carb cauliflower pizza!
