A tasty mix of soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and fragrant spices is used to marinate these Chinese Chicken Kebabs. They are a healthier and just as tasty alternative to traditional fried kebabs because they are air-fried to perfection.
Ingredients: 1 lb boneless chicken breast, cut into cubes. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce. 1 tablespoon honey. 1 teaspoon minced garlic. 1 teaspoon minced ginger. 1/2 teaspoon five-spice powder. 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes adjust to taste. Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes. Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish.
Instructions: In a bowl, combine soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, minced garlic, minced ginger, five-spice powder, and red pepper flakes to make the marinade. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and toss to coat them evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to marinate. Preheat your Philips Airfryer to 360F 180C for 5 minutes. Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers. Place the chicken skewers in the Airfryer basket, making sure they are not touching each other. Airfry the chicken kebabs at 360F 180C for 15-20 minutes, turning them halfway through the cooking time, until they are cooked through and have a nice char on the outside. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving. Enjoy your delicious Chinese Chicken Kebabs!
