(Some technical changes for Dion, Timer, and Reverb's transformations. Inspiration from some older designs and charrs)
In the Two-Tailed Tabaxi society, these eight are revered as legendary heroes. There are statues depicting them throughout the homeland though only just a vague approximation of how they looked. These were their actual transformed appearances when they were still alive. Most history recounts them in their lycanthropic forms as these were the forms they were usually in. What happened to these eight figures later in life, no one knows for sure.
Older times the ancestor tabaxi had fully embraced the warrior life, even the scholars. Old fairy tales state that this is the true form of the two-tailed tabaxi and that they took own less intimidating forms to better fit in among their smaller peers. These 8 stood about 15 feet tall with the exception of Gelion who stood around 8 feet tall.
When a two-tailed tabaxi transforms, in most cases they'll look similar to their base form. There are some, however, that may drastically look different given their ancestry. Those who have inherited their "spirit" will transform into basic near doubles of the original heroes, despite their ancestry, with the exception of the emblem on their shoulder. Though no one from their society will know, given their true appearance was lost to history.
Alephoense (Warlock)- A notorious tabaxi who constantly got himself into trouble. A smart mouth and the youngest of the eight heroes, he had a strong sense of adventure. Throughout his travels, he grew a fascination with dragons and managed to battle and befriend several over his life time. He even traveled with some over his lifetime. He left behind a rare tome that he had used in his travels.
Balender (Barbarian)- A good-hearted but battle driven warrior who mastered using many weapons. His favored weapon was the greataxe he looted from a dragon's lair. He felt it was his duty to protect the smaller races from the dangers of the old world. He left behind a rare greataxe that he had used in his travels.
Reneiscant (Monk)- The largest of the heroes and most dangerous. Though he fought for his allies, he had a devious mind. Along with his massive strength, he had unmatched charisma to persuade or intimidate anyone. He managed to gain unmatched wealth with his words alone and cut down anyone who dared to undermine him given his short temper. Elder brother to Alephoense. He had left behind rare handwraps that he had used in his travels.
Anatonios (Rogue)- An assassin without equal who targeted the corrupt and rich. He greatly disliked the nobility despite hailing from one and shared his wealth among his peers. His legacy would inspire the rogues from their society. He had left behind rare daggers that he had used in his travels.
Delifran (Fighter)- The oldest of the heroes and wisest. He had extensive knowledge in medicine and healing magics. He had a habit of biting on his tail when he was feeling playful. Delifran enjoyed the musical arts and practiced learning music in his free time. He had left behind rare polearm he had used in his travels.
Euler (Ranger)- Once a runaway who had returned to protect his homeland. He traveled across the world to learn about the many secrets hidden. He very much disliked the rain and preferred drier climates. He had left behind a rare sword he had used in his travels.
Gelion (Sorcerer)- The most tactical of the heroes, he was usually apathetic to what was happening around him but many had come to him in times of need. Fairly monotone but his knowledge was passed down through the scholars of their society. He had left behind a rare quarterstaff he had used in his travels.
Xelrin (Druid)- A former fisherman with a love of the sea. A warrior but also an artisan. His knowledge laid the foundations for the infrastructure of the city his kin and descendants would create. Had a fondness of drinking often. He had left behind a spear he had used in his travels.
