Delightful Bars | a lot of people confused this project as being a sophomore album, I understand why. It had all the appearances of a follow up to Sleepers but it was far from it. There was no real cohesion with the songs, just a bunch of records I recorded starting around 2005 up until I released the project in 2009. This project consisted of a few different versions of what my official sophomore album, Dirty Pretty Things, was going to sound like...the first three versions to be exact. I had so many songs recorded, didn't want to put 25-30 songs on one album, so me and @bigdho thought it would be dope to release alternate versions in different territories with different covers. Enter my man @tobias_rose who I have known since our college days. Dho and Tobias tossed around ideas before ultimately Tobias took the idea and ran with it like Nelson from Boomerang! No, I wasn't present for any of the photo shoots. Unfortunately, Tobias is a professional and these were all taken in a closed session...even to me! lol. Peep the alternate covers. Go back and peep the music. A lot of joints on the versions I did end up releasing. The first song I ever did with Kendrick, Ab-Soul, and Jay Rock appear on this project.
