To call it a coincidence that Sylvan's destination should be this house despite his intentions to find Royce first would be a big lie; one he'd be ashamed to admit to any other-- even to himself. Now he stands at the address provided on the note Logan had left behind not at all too long ago, part of him holds a negative sense of anticipation. There's no excitement here, for the reek of death all but stays behind the front door. Such a thing would not have bothered him if it wasn't for the realisation to dawn upon him a mere split second after having come to a halt right by the door: it's either Luke, Jordan, or Logan.
Not quite as delicately as he'd intended to, he just about burst into the Incubus' home, only to be greeted with the sharpest of death's scents. He wonders now if this is the source of not only one, but two victims.
For that very question to rise from the back of his mind, keen eyes scan the disheveled living space. It's not any mess; it's one he figures to be left behind by a person with the intention to kill-- and it seems they got what they wanted.
Considering he means not to come across the nosey wad in regardless of his personal concerns and looming distress, rather than stepping on forth and starting to sift through the house and potentially call upon him Luke's or Jordan's disapproval-- for he can hear two pulses despite his aforementioned theory--, he much rather calls out for someone to come downstairs instead.
