Since your favorite Paper Mario just turned 18, I have a question for you, my twin 😁 What's the thing you love most about it? Is it the story, the characters, the gameplay...? What made it become your favorite?

Excellent question, my twin😊

The answer is simple: all of the above, but most of all, the story! I love how boldly dark it is for a Mario game and how it borrows some of its lore both from Greek and Abrahamic mythology. I've always enjoyed different myths from all around the world, learning about them was a big part of my childhood😁

Then there's another important part: Luigi plays a big role! I often miss him when he's barely present in the game (Paper Jam, how could you?? Justice for Paper Luigi!🥲), but here he was even the final boss, how crazy (and awesome) is that? Which brings us to the part I love THE most: the whole Mr. L storyline! It's so fascinating to see Luigi brainwashed to the point where he becomes a villain! Such a charming one at that - arrogant and dorky. He gives us so much angst potential too, as the fandom very much acknowledges😆💚

Speaking of charming villains, there's also this weird fellow:

As for the gameplay... some people argue that it's not so good because it resembles a regular platformer game too much, but um. I like platformers😅 And the whole flipping mechanic is cool IMO.
