So like it p/ obvious in the last few DH book that Nicky's remembering/dreaming CoN and I'm totally headcanoning that as soon as he gets convinced that it's real he's gonna go hunting for Caleb. And Kody but that's a little more tragic and I don't wanna think about the horror my girl's gonna go through :(

I’ll admit, I haven’t read the CoN (blasphemy, I know, especially considering I’m running this blog ay? I’m working on it.) 

But I do know about Kody and who she is and RIP MY HEART. 

But actually I am really interested to see Caleb pop up in the main series (I hear he’s in one of the short stories in Dark Bites? Need to read that...) 

That aside; I didn’t notice the ‘Nick’s remembering/dreaming CoN’, but that may be because I haven’t read CoN so I can’t pick out these things. What made you notice it?

all right so-- i don’t have much yet because cities of night is still a long while away and i’m focusing on other chars and dynamics rn, but what i do have:

his faceclaim is annie clark (st. vincent)

he’s a history major

bilbo sent him to piano lessons when he was 10 but he didn’t really enjoy them

he’s from the united states, but came over after his parents died in a boating accident on lake erie

he hangs out a lot in merry and pippin’s studio/apartment/whatever (sam begrudgingly tags along)

4. what are some themes you love writing about?

i consider myself a “romance novelist” so obvious i love writing romance, but i like encompass that romance with large-than life elements--space romance novel is also about a post-space golden age and people living in the wreckage of it; the deathless is about the a heaven and hell and the mortals caught in between--and i like to especially to focus on women relating to other women, supporting other women, creating found families.

i also love about finding yourself, finding your place, finding what makes you happy, the deconstruction/reconstruction of what defines family, just familial connections general, most especially sisterhood, the struggle of duty vs. individuality, self-sacrifice vs. self preservation, men and women who exist within the morally grey. i mean i love writing about just about anything but those are some themes that typically find a way into most of my work.
