Former College basketball player Walt McGrary Dies at 24 Years Old Following Battle with Cancer
Walt McGrory, a former University of Wisconsin-Madison basketball player, died at the age of 24 following a two-year struggle with bone cancer. McGrory, who believed in a higher force, detailed his journey on Instagram and stayed optimistic throughout the ordeal. Despite aspirations to continue playing basketball and earn an MBA, his health deteriorated. He was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare type of bone cancer that normally affects children.
