Lost in Darkness

He’s been wandering around these parts for a while. Having woken up here in such a strange, vacant place. It’s only when the green-coated Rabbit had been fortunate enough to find his way to what looked like a strange town did his hopes rise along with his appetite.

Then he goes and finds out the whole damn place is emptier than a paid-access salad bar.

Thankfully, even those things have vegans willing to pay for it-- no wait, I mean at least finally he found SOMEONE in the middle of this dark, eccentric village.

Only to find out there was no meat in sight. No Hotdogs, no burgers, no beef, pork, or anything that resided within the boundaries of Samga’s comically carnivorous diet.

“Excuse me? All you got ‘roun here’s cake?!”

Then his belly let out a growl.

“uhhh... Okay fine, if you know how t’bake a good cake then I wouldn’t mind if you offered.. But uhh.. if y’don’t mind me askin’, who are you? Some kinda sasquatch?”

In Deltarune, Bo goes from a total bum with no job to a skeleton who works almost constantly, picking up your trash (and collecting rats)

((I was stumped on what kind of object would be tied to Amelia the way Laurence's pipe is tied to him, but then it hit me!))

((Wine bottles. I think it's a neat way to subtly show how Addy perceives her dad vs her mom))

((Her dad's darkener counterpart is tied to something of sentimental value, while her mom is tied to alcohol.))

((I think Amelia's counterpart would be a lady made of glass who's half full of red wine. Her name is Lady Red, and she's recently entered the kingdom as the new queen once the king goes missing))

((If I made a Deltarune verse, I definitely think Addy's darkworld would be about finding your joy and whimsy again after feeling like your world is crumbling apart, while also acknowledging that you can't stay inside your own head forever.))

((I think Addy herself would be the final boss before closing the fountain because she doesn't want to leave this place. She doesn't see it as a dream; she instead sees it as an Alice in Wonderland type of situation))

((Why shouldnt she just stay? Her mom doesn't have to deal with the stress of raising her anymore, and she can go on adventures every day with the darkeners!))

((She can...she can have her dad again because hes back in a way via a darkener who manifested form her dad's pipe))

((But ofc Catherine, Oliver, and Bobby utilize the power of friendship to make her see that they can go on adventures together and live life irl. Addy can find happiness and whimsy. And one day, maybe her mom might get better, or one day Addy can leave her behind if she wont. She can't stay here, this isnt her world. And the longer the fountain stays open, the more harm it might cause.))

((Addy then helps them close the fountain with one last goodbye to her darkener dad. It hurts...but it feels like everything will be okay))
