Hmm... Pets, but people have other things that pets can't provide

Thank you! Turns out it is indeed shingles. Which is a bummer, but the doctor (lower-case 'd', unfortunately) prescribed me antivirals and painkillers, so it's manageable. Now I just have to wait two weeks for it to blow over. Oh joy. :D

(At least tumblr is back, though! It was down all over New Zealand and, apparently, parts of Australia for the past 48 hours so I couldn't even hang out here to take my mind off of things! Ugh.)

Poor you! My daughter had shingles and it didn't seem like it was any fun at all.

Thank you! That's interesting, though, because when we first went to see a pharmacist he didn't think it could be shingles because I wasn't the right age group. Apparently, it's a bit unusual to get it this young?? How long did it take to heal for your daughter? Has she had any further trouble with it?
