It was stupid to have had any sort of presumptions, clearly. He had been surprised that she had approached him at all, but it wasn’t nonsensical. Some people tried pot around finals, to help them cram and focus. To ease the stress. Even if it was a case of good girl rebellion, that wouldn’t have been... that would have been impressive. A first timer, asking for something even stronger? That was more... concerning, than anything else.

“Special K. Ketamine. It's a dissociative anesthetic., When life gets to be too much, you snort a little and just... zone out. Pain relief. Sedation. Amnesia. The effects wane with time though, and it won’t fix any of your problems. It’ll just... help you get away, for a little bit. Course, like with anything, there are risks. Dude was a lost little sheep if there ever was one. Oh, he looked to be having the absolute time of his life - but he still looked a little out of sorts. Lonely.

Well, maybe not lonely, but if nothing else the guy was alone.

Gareth and Jeff had ran off to do something together, and who the hell knew where Rick was. Probably with Lindy. They themselves had probably bailed to go do… something as well.

Mm. So it was that Eddie was enjoying the fair all on his lonesome. Or at least, had been trying to. Trying not to think about a certain cheerleader up on the Ferris wheel, cuddled up to her boyfriend.

So whether he was willing or not, this little bespectacled nerd was going to be his company for the evening. It was going to be his mission to make sure the guy had a good time; that no one messed with him.
