Tell me more about Quinn/Leela

i’ve been cooking up this idea in my brain for weeks now so

how they run into each other first: the planet express is delivering to a planet the galaxy one has landed on… to fuel up, maybe?

upon first seeing leela, quinn wouldn’t be freaked out (because she’s so used to tribore and his surplus of eyes that seeing just one eye wouldn’t phase her in the slightest) and i feel like leela would appreciate that a lot

quinn and leela (airanga? taragon? queela? alright… not queela) would absolutely bond over being competent space captains and being good at physical combat, like that’s just a given

maybe a bit competitive at first cause they’re pretty much equals? but i feel like they’d get over that pretty quickly 

very supportive on both ends; often shower each other with compliments 

in terms of actual dates, i think both of them would prefer more low-key stuff (like going to the movies or chatting over coffee), just to take a break from all the craziness of their every-day lives

anyone can add on their own headcanons if they’d like!! i’d love to hear em

15. How long does an average piece take you to complete?For sketches with colour it takes about 30 minutes to an hour, for the lined ones with shading it can take around 2 hours or 1 hour if it’s really simple. Paintings just take forever, I’ve no idea how long those take. All I know is I’ve been painting the same thing for 2 weeks now.

16. Do you draw more today than you did in the past, or do you draw less?It’s hard to say, I think I draw less because when I was younger I drew multiple things every day in sketchbooks. I spend more time on actual pieces now, so there’s nicer art with nice colours but less art overall.

21. Do you like to challenge yourself?I try to! I like doing the challenging work to get better at art but I don’t like it when it’s frustrating or way out of my comfort zone. I’m still trying to get better at doing challenging things.

25. Do you like to draw in silence, or with music?Music for sure, I’ve got that sweet tinnitus so it’s either music and sound or a high pitched drone to draw to. Alternatively, podcasts and youtube shows.

1) i like gelato a LOT! the heavy cream in ice cream nnakes me have like.. a weird film on my mouth.. anyways i usually get chocolate and raspberry gelato when i go! thats a flavour chocasberlato

2) uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ok honestly my favourite place is a little gelato shop in downtown kingston lol.. kingstons just a fucking good city. love all those horse walkways between buildings and junk. little italy in ottawa is also big, also because of the gelato (i like really like gelato)

4) a horse! i mean not a vehicle and i can not exactly reach inside their brain to move their hulking machinery bodies but i know how to ride them and i like them and my legs, are so strong

5) i just wear boots &fuck up my foot soles constantly & thats that, thats it. previous to 1 month ago i had one pair of shoes 👠
