thinking of demeter. who lives with macavity & co and most of the time she feels crazy for him, most of the time they're together she feels like she loves him & she's loved. really. but she sneaks out either way every once in a while to have those meetings with bombalurina because she misses her and bomba misses demeter. and demeter herself doesn't really remember when it turned into these charged sexual encounters wherever they can tuck themselves away, if bombalurina always had that in mind or if they sort of fell into each other out of desperation and longing, but there's really very little that feels like being held and kissed and touched by bomba. and if macavity fucking her feels overwhelming & overpowering & unpredictable then bomba fucking her feels like there's not a moment where she's not considered & not a moment when bomba's unsure that she's doing right by demeter or that it's what demeter or her body wants from her. it's almost conversation. it's like opening demeter up. makes her feel featherlight. and obviously that's not only why demeter keeps seeing her—it's also pretty tricky for bomba to be seeing her all this way out of her (jellicle) territory—but it's just so good sometimes bomba almost gets through to her after. when they're lying in a shadow under a linden tree covered in sweat and cum under the fur and bomba combs her fringe back with her claws and licks her cheek and holds her to her chest like she's a kitten and demeter nuzzles into her neck and does feel a little bit like a kitten. and bomba says into her headfurs i do miss you a lot when you're not around you know. and demeter says i know. and bomba says you know you can always come to the junkyard if you feel like it. we'd be happy. and demeter says i don't need shelter. and bomba says okay. and demeter says i'm doing fine where i am. i want to be here. and bomba says okay. but if you wanted to visit you could come. demeter knows she couldn't. bomba says i miss you. demeter says i miss you too. bomba says not as much as i do and demeter says it's not a competition and bomba says if you missed me like i miss you you'd know what i mean and demeter says i know what you mean. and then they're quiet for a while before bomba says i love you. and demeter is quiet for a long long long time and bomba says i'm going to go back. have a watch to run over with munkustrap. and demeter swallows her hurt for a while and says stay with me a little bit longer. and bomba says come back with me. we all miss you. we've loved you for a long time. and demeter says stay with me a little bit longer and she's close to tears so bomba does. and she says even if you never come with me i'm still gonna love you. and demeter says okay. and then they lie there for a little bit longer
