i think a lot of what you just mentioned and also it was somewhere that men enjoy watching women chased, tortured etc. idk some weird sex thing also maybe the film makers don’t know how else to do it since it’s like part of the genre now.
Yeah, I agree. It's just how things go. There's not a lot of room for male leads unless they have a female lead who loves them and is running with them or something like that. I'm not a fan of horror really but damn aren't those that watch it kind of sick of the one-gendered protags?
